This week saw the Girls section of Mansfield Rugby Club take another massive step forward following its creation only four years ago, with the fantastic news that four of the squad have been selected to represent RFU Midlands in 2017 at U15 level. Georgina Tasker, Emily Bingley, Lois Markland and Heidi Seaton were part of the twelve U15 Mansfield players that got selected for the NLD U15 squad this season and enjoyed a successful campaign in Oct - Dec 16 in which the NLD U15 squad won all their CB matches. The selection to the RFU Midlands squad has followed.

Although this is a fantastic individual achievement by the players, it is important to stress that their success has come from the entire Mansfield U15 Girls squads competitiveness, drive and ambition whether that be in training or matches and as such this positive environment has created a platform to allow these four players to take the opportunities presented to them....and as such praise should be given to the whole squad as well as the four players for this achievement.
