A friend of mine who lives near the ground has just phoned Ashton. There is snow on the pitch and he was told that tomorrow's game is off. Of course, this won't be official until we are told by our own club so look out for it on the home page. |

By coincidence I was in Ashton earlier today. Obviously it is just as cold as everywhere else and it is inevitable that the game will be off. I may go to Stockport v Newport if that is on!! This cold snap is a real shame as we were in terrific form last month. It will hopefully warm up sufficiently for the match on Tuesday. Other teams could be left with a bit of a fixture pile up if this cold weather continues for another week or two. |

Forecast for Sunday and Monday is 6 or 7 degrees so hopefully Tuesday's game will be ok. |
