The Arriva Stadium will look really well for these games and especially the pitch which has had another planned upgrade. Ahead of the games I would like to welcome the players, officials and supporters of Wigan Athletic, Accrington Stanley, Tranmere Rovers and Rochdale and I am sure that both Marine and our visitors will benefit from the games as we all look forward to a promising season.”
Marine Manger Kevin Lynch said:
“These games are not only brilliant for our club and supporters, who I hope will come out in force to support us, but excellent in helping me to prepare for the new season ahead. These will be very tough games but it’s not about the results it’s about the fitness preparation which we will gain from such high profile clubs coming to the Arriva Stadium. I would like to thank personally Paul, Ronnie, John, Dave and Graham for bringing their teams to help in our preparations for the coming season”
