Marine AFC are pleased to announce the signing of experienced striker George Donnelly.
George, 29, has played for a number of Football League and Conference clubs including Plymouth Argyle, Luton Town, Stockport County, Fleetwood Town, Macclesfield Town and Tranmere Rovers.

He began his career at Runcorn Town before being signed by Tommy Lawson for Skelmersdale United, where he notched 48 goals in 44 appearances before his move to the Pilgrims. He has also been capped at international level, making one appearance for England C in 2011.

His most recent non League club was AFC Liverpool in 2016, following which he has had a spell out of the game as a personal trainer in the Middle East. He will be available for selection upon his return in the next couple of weeks.

The club confirm that midfielder MJ Monaghan has been released and we wish him well in his future career.
