JOHN MARSDEN SIGNS FOR MARINE

Marine AFC are pleased to announce the signing of striker John Marsden from Stalybridge Celtic.

John, 26, is a striker who has played in the Conference National for Southport, as well as having spells at Stockport County and AFC Telford United.

He began his senior career at Stockport Sports, netting 21 times in just 31 appearances to earn a move to Stoke City.

He moved on from the Potters in July 2013, joining Shrewsbury Town before signing for Southport in August 2014.

We also confirm that Josh Hine and Conor Ready have left the club.
