LLOYD ELLAMS

Following the expiry of a 7 day notice from Colwyn Bay Lloyd Ellams has informed manager Sean Hessey that he has left Marine.

This is Lloyd's decision and is not related to the club's recent signing of Danny Mitchley from Skelmersdale United.

Lloyd, 24, made 40 appearances in two spells for the Mariners scoring 17 goals, including five this season.

He will always be fondly remembered at the Marine Travel Arena, as the player who scored the brace of goals to give us the dramatic Great Escape win at Blyth Spartans on the last day of the 2014-15 season.

We thank Lloyd for his efforts and wish him well in his future career.
