Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Marine announces that they are to reduce season ticket prices for next season to capitalise on the huge increase in public support of the Club following the end of season heroics avoiding relegation on the last day of the season. Marine went to promotion hopefuls Blyth Spartans and came away with an amazing victory and an expected reprieve from relegation.

The Club have launched an early bird discount offer with reductions available for season tickets purchased by 30th June. Applications can also be made in person at the Club every Thursday through the summer between 7pm and 9pm.
Season tickets for adults are available for £150 (reduced from £170) and the senior citizens and student price is £80 [from £100]. Children aged 12-16 can purchase season tickets for just £20.

Admission charges to Marine games next season will remain unchanged at £10 for adults and £5 for concessions with children aged 11 and under being admitted for free accompanied by a paying adult.

Marine Chairman Paul Leary said:

“The Club has been amazed at the interest shown by Merseyside football supporters following our great escape from relegation at the end of the season. A surge in social media messages and twitter followers has taken place since the Blyth game and the Club wants to convert some of that interest into season ticket sales. The Club is buoyant following the tremendous efforts of the players led by Sean Hessey in those last 12 games of the season and we are all looking forward with excitement to a much better season ahead now that we have appointed Sean on a permanent basis.”

“The season ticket price of £150 works out at just over £6 for each of the 23 league games and the cost for children aged 12 -16 per game is under £1. This is affordable family friendly football at its very best. We have already received a number of enquiries from potential new supporters and this announcement confirms the launch by Marine of these new season offers to football fans across Merseyside. I welcome the new fans who have been attracted by our end of season heroics and the lower season ticket prices are now an added reason to follow the mighty Mariners."
