Robins land at MTA tomorrow...

Marine aim to record a much needed win tomorrow to pull away from the Evo-Stik Premier Division relegation places as they entertain Ashton United at the Marine Travel Arena.

The Mariners will be looking to repeat the outcome of the two previous meetings with the Robins this season at Hurst Cross, the Crosby club winning in the FA Trophy and League by scorelines of 4-0 and 4-1 respectively inside three days.

Ashton meanwhile have played their previous five League fixtures away from home, winning two and drawing one from trips to Stourbridge, Barwell, Coalville, Rushall and Buxton.

Marine manager Tommy Lawson has this week added a further three players to his squad, with French attacking midfielder Florian da Silva and central defender Liam Hollett joining the club. Experienced central defender Tony Davies completes the trio, but the former club captain requires international clearance after a spell in Wales.

Recent signing Jack Phillips is however available for selection after clearance was received on Friday.

Admission to the MTA is £10 adults, £5 concessions with accompanied U11s admitted free.

Liverpool, Everton, Tranmere Rovers and AFC Liverpool season ticket holders are admitted for £5 on production of their season ticket.

The Graham Lounge will be open from 12 noon with a guest cask ale available.
