After a well deserved draw at Blyth over the weekend joint leaders Marine welcome Buxton to the Arriva Stadium hoping to score their first double of the season.
Marine remain unbeaten despite dropping their first points of the season. Manager Kevin Lynch was satisfied with his team over the weekend “ We had a sloppy start as a result of the long journey but I was happy to take a point from a ground where we have never won before. The effort and endeavour was commendable and almost earned us all three points.”
Marine came from behind to beat Buxton 1-4 recently but the Bucks are unbeaten since with two wins and a draw including a victory at Stocksbridge where Marine travel on Saturday in the first qualifying round of the FA Cup.
Kevin Lynch acknowledges “You never get two games the same and I think it will be a tough test for us tomorrow but I am looking for a positive result.” Nick Rogan suffered a dead leg at Blyth but is hoping to be available.
Can Marine maintain their impressive form or will Buxton gain revenge? Find out by visiting the Arriva tonight.
