Marine v Frickley Athletic - Preview

Marine take on old rivals Frickley Athletic in the Emirates FA Cup 2nd Round Qualifying at the Marine Travel Arena tomorrow (3pm).

The Blues will be playing their third tie in the Cup this season, having thrashed Liversedge 10-1 and then beat Maltby Main in the last round.

The Mariners meanwhile beat Scarborough Athletic 3-2 in a replay at the Flamingo Land Stadium, after a 1-1 draw in the first game.

Frickley are currently in the Evo-Stik East, missing out on promotion through the play offs last season and looking well placed for another tilt at a return to the Premier Division this time around.

Recently appointed Marine manager Neil Young takes charge of his first home game and is likely to still be without David Webb, although the full back has returned to light training after suffering a cracked rib on the opening day of the season.

Admission is £10 adults, £5 concessions and is an all pay Cup tie - the usual season ticket and accompanied U11 offers do NOT apply for this game.
