Daniels arrive at the Arriva tomorrow...

Marine take on Stamford at the Arriva Stadium tomorrow in another vital relegation battle (3pm).

The Daniels are seven points ahead of the Crosby club but have played a game more, and have a tough set of fixtures to complete the Premier Division season.

Last time out on Tuesday they were defeated 1-0 at home by Curzon Ashton, but they earned a good point at home to champions elect FC United of Manchester last Saturday. They are however without a win in their last 8 League games, since beating Grantham Town 2-0 in mid February.

Marine meanwhile are on a good run of form with ten points from five games, including all three from the visit to Stamford three weeks ago courtesy of a fine goal from Karl Clair. Sean Hessey’s men had to settle for a point on Tuesday as visitors Blyth Spartans grabbed a point with an 89th minute goal in an exciting 3-3 draw, Lloyd Ellams (2) and Liam Willis netting for the Mariners.

Stamford will be without 19 goal leading scorer Ryan Robbins for the game, with the striker away on international duty representing St Kitts & Nevis in the World Cup.

Marine have brought in goalkeeper Josh Welsby as cover for Matt Cooper, the 22 year old gloveman having had previous spells with Wigan, Macclesfield, Salford City and Kendal Town.

Admission is £10 adults, £5 concessions with accompanied U11’s admitted free.

Everton, Liverpool, Tranmere and AFC Liverpool season ticket holders are admitted for £5 on production of their tickets.

The College Suite will be open from 12 noon so why not come in early and have a pre match pint or two to wash down the obligatory crisps and nuts?
