Mariners entertain Glassboys tomorrow...

Marine return to League action at the MTA tomorrow when they host Stourbridge (3pm).

The Worcestershire club are through to the Second Round of the FA Cup after they pulled off an impressive victory at Dover Athletic in the last round, and now face another National League side Eastleigh as they look for the dream Third Round tie.

The Glassboys arrive in Crosby sitting six points and seven places above the Mariners, having played one more game.

Sean Hessey's men have had a welcome break with no midweek game after the postponement of their FA Trophy replay at Kidsgrove, with Luke Holden and Karl Clair expected to return to the squad after illness and injury respectively. Alan Burton is also available after being cup tied last Saturday, but James Short remains a doubt after a recent ankle injury.

Tom Owens, James Foley and Jon Goulding are all likely to miss the game through injury as the Crosby club bid to extend a run of three wins and a draw from their last four outings, all at the MTA.

Admission is adults £10, concessions £5 with Under 11s admitted free with a paying adult.

Liverpool, Everton, Tranmere and AFC Liverpool season ticket holders are admitted for £5 on production of their season ticket.

Please note that due to an expected healthy attendance the College Suite (seats 150) will be open from 12 noon and all fans are welcome to join us for our range of Carlsberg ales, including a guest cask (and crisps & nuts).

The Graham Lounge will remain closed for staff to prepare for the evening Oxfam Syria appeal acoustic evening.

The pitch is currently fine, soft in some places and the forecast looks good.

We will confirm in the morning via Twitter @MarineAFC that everything is ok.
