Marine entertain Whitby Town at the Arriva Stadium tomorrow (3pm) as new manager Sean Hessey looks to instil some confidence back in to the relegation threatened home side.

The Seasiders have a good record at the Arriva, having won on three of their last four visits but had to settle for a draw last season, John Shaw’s freak 75th minute goal squaring the match which finished 1-1.

The sides also shared the spoils earlier this season at the Turnbull in September, this time by a 2-2 scoreline with Andy Fowler netting twice to put the Crosby club two goals to the good at half time.

The Mariners are likely to have a fully fit squad but will be without midfielder Carl Peers, who serves a one match suspension.

Admission is £10 adults, £5 concessions with accompanied U11’s admitted free.

Liverpool, Everton, Tranmere and AFC Liverpool season ticket holders are admitted for £5 on production of their season ticket.

The Graham Lounge will be open from 12 noon selling the usual range of beers including a guest cask, to wash down copious quantities of nuts. And crisps. And maybe even pork scratchings.
