Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Marine announces that their FA Trophy 3rd Qualifying round replay against Conference North Darlington at the Marine Travel Arena has been rescheduled for this coming Tuesday 6th December following last week’s postponement due to a frozen pitch.

The game kicks off at 7:45pm and admission is all pay with adults £10 and concessions £5. The winners of the replay have been drawn away in the FA Trophy 1st round proper at Stockport County, to be played on Saturday 10th December 2016.

Marine came away from Darlington last Sunday with a hard earned 2-2 draw after taking a two goal lead in the first half with goals from Michael Monaghan and Adam Hughes, before Darlington replied to earn the replay at Marine.

Marine Chairman Paul Leary said:

“I appeal to the many Merseyside football fans to come to our replay on Tuesday to give us that extra support in what will be a really tough game. Darlington are a big and powerful side who are pushing for promotion to the National League, but if we can play as we did on Sunday then we have every chance to progress with the reward of a first ever meeting with Stockport County at Edgeley Park.”

Paul added:

“Before the replay though we are have a league game this coming Saturday at home against Halesowen Town. It is hoped that we shall have one or two new signings available for this game as we bid to move up the table in the coming weeks.”
