...following Marine's home game against Mickleover on Saturday 25th November 2017 at 7pm in the Graham lounge. The Race Night is being run in conjunction with Sefton Women's & Children's Aid Charity -SWACA (Charity Number:1066878) in order to raise much needed funds for both the MSA & SWACA. Tickets for the Race Night can be bought from behind the bar in the Marine Clubhouse or via Lesley at SWACA. Tickets are priced at just £3, this includes entry and a chip butty supper. Tickets may also be purchased on the night at the door. The usual tote will be in operation enabling bets to be placed before each race. Peter McCormack has kindly agreed to be our compere for the evening.
SWACA’s dedicated team help women, young people and children survive the impact of Domestic Violence and Abuse by giving free practical and emotional support. Their services are offered regardless of Age, Disability, Sexuality, Race or Religion.
This is the MSA's first major fundraiser of the year raising valuable monies which enable us to run coaches to away games at discounted prices and also enable us to donate funds regularly to the club. Most of our revenue will come from the pre-sale of horses, riders and trainers which can be purchased for £5 each and may lead you to winning a prize even if you are unable to attend the event! So if you can't attend but want to support the MSA & Sefton Women's and Children's Aid, please consider contributing in this way.
Members of our coaching staff and our players will be attending and supporting the evening. Please help the MSA to assist our fantastic club by supporting our race night.
