Marine AFC announce that Caretaker Manager Sean Hessey has brought in former Accrington Stanley and Morecambe Academy head Phil Hackney as Assistant Manager.

Ainsdale based Phil brings a wealth of coaching experience to Marine, having also held roles at Liverpool County FA Under 18’s and Everton Ladies.

In the mid 1990’s he was also a coach with the Marine Youth team, assisting Ray Coleman.

He is the holder of FA Advanced and UEFA ‘A’ Coaching Licenses.
The club are also pleased to confirm that Physio Gary Ede and Kit Manager Gary Trowler are to continue in their roles.
