CHESTER, TRANMERE, AFC LIVERPOOL AND LIVERPOOL U18’s TO VISIT THE ARRIVA STADIUM IN PRESEASON EXTRAVAGANZA FOR MARINE.

Admission prices slashed for friendly games.

Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Marine announces the visits to the Arriva Stadium of Chester FC, Tranmere Rovers, AFC Liverpool and Liverpool U18’s in an exciting series of friendly games ahead of the new season. The games are seen as ideal preparation for new Marine manager Carl Macauley in the build up to his first season in charge of the Mariners.

On Saturday 12th July Marine entertain Conference Premier Chester FC for the first of three consecutive Saturday friendlies. The following Saturday the 19th July the Mariners face League 2 Tranmere Rovers also with a new manager in Rob Edwards, the former assistant boss at Exeter City..

The final Saturday home friendly on the 26th July sees the visit of AFC Liverpool who will be ground sharing at the Arriva Stadium for at least the next two seasons. The match has been arranged to celebrate the exciting link up of the two clubs.

Admission prices for all three friendlies have been slashed to £5 adults and £3 concessions. Children aged 11 and under will be admitted for free as long as they are accompanied by a paying adult. All games kick off at 3pm.

On Thursday 7th August in the final home pre-season friendly Marine entertain Liverpool U18’s kicking off at 7:30pm with the reduced admission prices also applying.

Marine Chairman Paul Leary said:

“I look forward to hosting Chester FC, Tranmere Rovers, our new friends AFC Liverpool and Liverpool U18’s in the coming weeks. These games will provide an ideal test for our newly assembled squad under new manager Carl Macauley. These are exciting times for everyone at Marine as we prepare for the new season and to play such high profile games in the build-up is a massive help in Carl’s plans for the kick-off of the new season in August.

I would like to thank the officials of Chester FC, Tranmere Rovers, AFC Liverpool and Liverpool for agreeing to visit us and I look forward to meeting and welcoming them, their players and supporters to the Arriva Stadium in the weeks ahead.”
