Tuesday evening (14th July) saw a slighter smaller crowd to that of Saturday v Shrewsbury Town, when MDTFC played host to Childs Ercall in a Pre-Season Friendly.

For a variety of reasons Manager Martyn Davies rang the changes to the playing squad.

The first 15 minutes saw the Town struggling to find any form of playing pattern.

15 Mins - Town conceded a goal when keeper Ash Rawlings's clearance struck Childs Ercall player Andy Rich and rebounded into the Town goal 0 1

29 Mins - saw Town draw level through Corey Garratt 1 1

40 Mins - Town went in front with a tremendous right foot shot from the edge of the penalty area by Mike O'Riley 2 1

55 Mins - Good work by James Bennett Tindall with a cross from the right wing saw Will Whieldon increase the scoreline 3 1

57 Mins - Same move again converted by Will Whieldon to make it
4 1

75 Mins - Will scored again to secure his hat trick 5 1

85 Mins - James O'Neill hit the cross bar and then converted the rebound to make the final score 6 1

Full credit to a Childs Ercall side who never gave up trying.
