Market Drayton travel to Chasetown this weekend hoping that they can overcome a team famous for their exploits in the FA Cup and win themselves a handsome financial reward and another round in the cup.
Chasetown, renowned for being the lowest ranked side to have reached the third round proper of the cup in the 2007/08 season, are currently riding high in the Evo-Stik First Division South after winning four of their opening five games. Manager Jimmy Mullen believes anything can happen though with Drayton on a good run themselves and Chasetown having lost this season as well. There is also the fact that despite their reputation in English footballs most famous competition, they are still very much Evo-Stik opposition and the type of team The Gingerbread Men need to be beating if they are to progress in the league.
Kick-Off is 3pm at The Scholars Ground.
When did Chasetown lose at home? Beat Newcastle Town 2-0, beat Rocester 3-1, beat Lincoln United 3-1...
Beat Rocester 2-1 even (typo alert)
Apologies, A typo in there as well.
