Market Drayton Town FC is looking to recruit a Matchday Programme Editor for the forthcoming season. This voluntary position on the Committee is ideal for someone looking to reveal their creative streak by crafting our popular matchday programme for all home league and cup games over the forthcoming season. The role would particularly suit anyone studying for a career in media or journalism at college and it would make a standout contribution to your CV.

Whilst it would be advantageous to attend all home games our main requirement is that the programmes can be completed in good time for our weekly print deadlines and that the content engages our supporters on matchdays. Your creativity will help boost programme sales and give our sponsors increased coverage around the town. We will supply you with all the necessary templates to create the programmes at home but having your own means to travel to and from Greenfields would be advantageous.

As well as editing the programme, keen sports writers will be given the opportunity to update our website and social media feeds with the latest goings on around the club as well as writing live matchday reports for Twitter.
