Market Drayton finally found 3 points in the league following a run of five draws as they cruised past Loughborough Dynamo 4-1 at Greenfields.
Captain Martyn Davies set the home team on their way just 7 minutes into the tie before new boy Adam Proudlock found the net for the first time 25 minutes into the game. A further goal from Dorryl Proffit on 34 minutes meant Drayton took a comfortable 3-0 lead into half-time as Jimmy Mullen looked to get his team home without throwing away another convincing lead.
The second half was a much closer affair, and it wasn't until the 81st minute when defender JJ Bailey struck home a goal that surely had to seal the win for the boys in red.
Within a minute however Dynamo had pulled one back through Dominic Brennan, and the home crowd were left praying that a repeat of the comebacks seen by opposition in recent weeks wasn't on the cards. Luckily it appears Town have learnt their lesson and saw out the remaining minutes to ensure a first victory since the first weekend in September and a valuable three points to push them into the mid-table places.
