An early opportunity to overcome the disappointment of the Loughborough Dynamo match on Saturday arises when Drayton travel the relatively short distance to Northwich to face Witton Albion. Albion sit pretty at the top with maximum points from their opening 3 games so it will be a tough match.

Our one and only league visit to Wincham Park to visit Witton Albion came in the 09/10 season when we put in a brave performance in a 4-2 reverse. On a personal note it was where the writer got bitten by the Drayton bug. Drayton found themselves 3-0 down within half an hour but managed to pull a couple of goals back before the break.
