Goole AFC are hoping to raise £5,000 for goalkeeper Jack Wheat who has been told he will never play football again after a horrific collision in a match at Market Drayton on the 12th March.

Jack sustained a fractured skull, fractured eye socket, broken jaw and a compressed cheekbone.

Due to the severity of his injuries, Jack is likely to be unable to work for a considerable amount of time. This has prompted Goole AFC to start a Crowdfunder appeal.

Market Drayton Town FC supporters have made donations to Jack's fund.
