It's another local derby of sorts for Drayton tonight as we look to pick up points against a team that are in and around our own league position.

It''s a struggle to think of a suitable pun to describe how Drayton sit one point behind Chasetown and are looking to catch them up!

The Scholars are on 8 points with 2 wins, 2 draws and 3 defeats, with both wins coming away from home. Impressive victories at AFC Rushden and Diamonds and Basford Unitrd earlier in the season have been tempered by a heavy 5-0 defeat to lowly Kidsgrove Athletic and a 3-2 loss last time out at Leek Town.

Drayton are on 7 points from 8 matches and will be looking for their first home win since the season's opener.

It's tight in the bottom half of the league. Defeat for Drayton and unfavourable score lines elsewhere this midweek could see us bottom whereas glorious victory would see us reach mid-table.
