It will be another tough match for Drayton with Spalding having enjoyed an excellent start to the season, positioned in 2nd place only behind Witton Albion on goal difference. 13 points from 5 matches with 4 wins and a draw. Impressive at any level so we should have a good game tomorrow and will need to be at our best to win the match.

Drayton come into the match on the back of a midweek defeat by Romulus in the Integro Sports Cup. Level on 90' at 3-3 and ditto at 120' Romulus won the tie 3-2 on penalties.

The Greenfields pitch is looking in fine fettle at the moment and is certainly being put to the test. Tomorrow's match will be the third in a sequence of 5 matches in 8 days. Two matches in midweek just gone and two matches this midweek too. Tuesday sees Drayton at home again in the league versus Newcastle Town and Wednesday sees Drayton U21s at home to AFC Bridgnorth.

It's a busy time down at Greenfields at the moment and anyone wishing to help out in a voluntary capacity is more than welcome.
