Hot on the heels of Saturday's tremendous 6-0 away win at Brigg Town, Drayton have the chance to consolidate their position with another league game. Saturday couldn't have turned out any more perfect for Drayton, taking maximum points with a bagful of goals and the 2 relegation rivals both losing. There's now a 5 point gap to the final relegation spot with both Rainworth and Kidsgrove needing to get a couple of wins each to overhaul Drayton. A repeat set of scores tomorrow would almost certainly but not mathematically see Drayton safe.

Tomorrow's game comes as a bonus for Drayton as the original game versus Norton United was abandoned on 72 mins last Boxing Day with Norton 3-0 up. The snow turned heavy at the beginning of the second half resulting in atrocious conditions leaving the referee no alternative but to abandon the game.

A good season so far for Norton on the pitch sees them lie in 10th place with no prospect of reaching the play-offs and well clear of the bottom places.

Tomorrow also sees a crossbar challenge take place which is for Under 16s with a prize for the successful.
