Halesowen Town sit proudly at the top of the division, 4 points clear of second placed Leek Town and 5 points clear of Coalville Town, but have played 2 games more.

The Yeltz are in fine form at the moment too having won 4 of their last 5 matches. The only defeat in that sequence was a 4-3 home loss to a Belper Town team that had lost to Drayton in their previous match.

The race for promotion looks like it's going to the wire and Drayton have a big say in matters as we play host to Leek Town on Easter Monday for our final home league match.

Drayton should hopefully have their divisional status assured by then. Kidsgrove occupy the last relegation place and they lie 11 points adrift of Drayton with 7 games left but they are in dreadful form having lost the last 5.

Drayton meanwhile will be looking to bounce back at home having suffered a heavy 4-1 loss in our last home match versus Mickleover Sports.

Let's hope we have a large home following to create a good atmosphere as there should be a good few Yeltz fans cheering on their team.
