It was a match of very few chances, clear cut ones at least, where a draw was just about the fairest outcome. The major talking point of the first half was the sending-off of Leek number 4 Jon Beaumont for an alleged head-butt. The match had been even up to that point but Leek seemed to galvanise in adversity for the half's remainder.
The second half again was evens-stevens with a flurry of goalmouth action towards the end but the goalkeepers were rarely troubled.
Man-of-the-match was Paul McMullen as voted by popular opinion by the Drayton faithful, an absolute rock in defence.
Next up in the trilogy of away matches this week is Tividale this coming Saturday.
The next scheduled home match is next Tuesday when we entertain Coalville Town who are flying high again this season.
