Early Afternoon Snow Causes Game To Be Postponed

An afternoon snow storm caused the late postponement of the scheduled 'away' game versus Chasetown FC.

There were a number of other postponements affecting teams in the lower section of the League - including Carlton Town, Kidsgrove and Gresley.

Elsewhere there was a mixture of results for the other teams at the wrong end of the Table:

  • Romulus secured a tremendous 4-0 Home victory versus Loughborough
  • Peterborough, not surprisingly, lost 3-0 to League leaders Basford United
  • Sheffield FC secured a vital point in drawing 0-0 with high flying Stamford.

These results mean that Peterborough Sports now occupy bottom place in the League with 23 points from 27 games, whereas Romulus move up 3 places in the League Table.

MDTFC remain in 16th place with 26 points from 26 games.

A reminder that we are at 'Home' on the 27th January versus 14th placed Lincoln United; please show your support for the club by cheering the boys on - and become the 12th man.
