Teams Participating In The NPL Division 1 South 2017/2018 Have Been Announced

The teams competing in the NPL Division 1 South will see MDTFC facing long journeys to places such as Cleethorpes and Peterborough.

The 'new' teams in our Division are

Alvechurch (Midland Football League)
Cleethorpes (Northern Counties East League)
Corby Town (NPL Premier Division)
Ilkeston (NPL Premier Division)
Peterborough Sports (United Counties League)

These teams replace
Shaw Lane AFC - promoted
Witton Albion - promoted
Rugby Town - relegated
Northwich Victoria - relegated
Rushden & Diamonds - will now place in the Southern League

For the season 2017/2018 there will only be one team relegated.
