Friday night comedy in Market Harborough
Headlining the night is the intelligent, controversially witty, hip and silly Markus Birdman. Regarded by many in the know as one of the best circuit acts in the country, he has toured internationally and had highly acclaimed shows at the Edinburgh Festival. His dandyish onstage confidence, versatility and infectious nature result in a truly absorbing performance.
Supporting will be Rhodri Rhys, before becoming a comedian he qualified as a Chartered Surveyor and became a property entrepreneur in Eastern Europe. His act combines sharp wit and observation with a natural geniality, his material is broad and colourful, drawing on his own experiences in his unusual path to a comedy career, while deftly seaming in religion, business, sport and history too.
Completing the line-up will be the outrageously flamboyant, Jellybean Martinez. His ‘international Spanish pop star’ act is never dull and certainly fills his audiences with high spirits.
Compere for the night is the cheery and chatty Scott Bennett.
