As the Commercial Chairman of the Market Harborough Rugby Club I would like to firstly thank you for the generous support you have offered over past seasons to our Mini and Junior sections. This could be through a number of different forms; purchasing membership for you or your child, offering your time up to coach/help out or simply financially supporting the club through sponsorship. We have a fantastic club and we also have some fantastic supporters.

To give you a couple of headline figures; as a club we have in excess of 400 children actively playing rugby within our Mini & Junior section, this is supported by 100 coaching staff. Within our senior section we have over 150 playing members and a further 150 supporting members. Many clubs envy us for these stats. Alongside having the biggest Mini & Junior section in Leicestershire; we are one of the largest grass roots rugby clubs within the East Midlands – A truly great position to be in!

Now down to crux of my note... Basically as an organisation we are looking for ‘new club wide sponsors’ to help and support our ever expanding grass roots rugby club. We have a great clubhouse and once the building project ‘1923’ is completed we will have a fantastic community venue. We can tailor sponsorship packages to suit any size of budget as all sponsorship is welcomed. I am happy to have an open discussion and to bounce ideas about. To give you some indication our basic packages start from only £250.

Subject to a sponsor being found, we have made a club decision that for the new season 2013/2014 we will be introducing a new kit from the Under 6s through to our 1st XV. This will be the playing kit for the next 3 years. We are actively looking for a new additional ‘Headline’ sponsor to help financially support this purchase. This would include corporate branding on over 250 playing shirts, our website and through our social media on Facebook and Twitter. – so it is a great opportunity for any business. We have over 350 members on our website along with over 370 followers via Facebook and Twitter. Should this be of interest then I’ll be more than happy to forward across the finer detail.
