There are many ways to help raise funds for Marlborough Town:
* Every night of the week, there is an event on at the Clubhouse/Hall. Admission is only £2 for adults and £1 for under 16s/over 60s. All admission fees received will go towards the costs of running the club.
Monday is Chinese Banquet Night - £10 per head paid in advance (£5 for under 16s/over 60s/forces personnel). Enjoy the culinary delights of the Orient (we don't mean Leyton either!). No admission fee, so long as you have pre-booked with us (we strongly urge you to book in order to avoid disappointment!)
Starters include: Spring Rolls, Chicken Satays, Spare Ribs and Salt & Pepper Chicken.
Main Meals include: Crispy Chilli Beef, Egg Fried Rice, Special Chow Main, Chicken Chinese Style & King Prawn With Ginger & Spring Onion.
Tuesday is Football Night - Providing that there is no scheduled game at Elcot Lane, there will be a live game shown on our Big Screen. (ADMISSION FREE)
Wednesday is Quiz Night - come and pit your wits against your friends and fellow fans. £2 admission which includes pen, question sheet, answer sheet and the opportunity to win £50 M&S vouchers.
Thursday is Wii Night - come along to the club house and have fun with our new Wii Consoles. Challenge your friends and family to the latest games, plus you can try out our Nintendo DS games as well.
Note: every third Thursday of the month, we will have an ex-players night at the club. £2 admission and seats will be arranged in 'classroom' form (maximum of 160 places). For details on who will be appearing at Marlborough Town F.C. please check the front page or events page.
Friday is Live Band Night - £2 to see two great acts live on stage.
The first act will be a local band/singer/comedian/entertainer and will be on stage for approximately 45 minutes.
The main act will be on stage for approximately 90 minutes, and there will be the opportunities for requests and dedications.
Note: In the case of a 'Double Header Booking' - that is when we have booked two main acts to appear - both acts will be on stage for 90 minutes each. Shows will either begin at 7.30 p.m. or 8.00 p.m, please check the 'Events' page for more information.
Saturday is Karaoke Night - £2 to party the night away and to prove that you've got what it takes to be the next big thing. We will launch our very own 'X Factor' competition, with the winner receiving £500 cash in our Grand Final at the end of the season (2 Runners Up get £250 each)!
Sunday is TPGN (or Traditional Pub Games Night). Free entry and you can take on your friends and family in traditional pub games like Cribbage, Darts, Shove Ha'penny, Draughts, Chess, Dominoes etc. and in September you can sign up to be part of one of the various Pub Games Leagues that we will be forming.
