The 3 hour Introduction to Umpiring course costs £25 and is for people with very limited (or no) umpiring experience. Participants do not receive an umpiring qualification.

Please see below details of an Introduction to umpiring course – this is suitable from age 12 and we would also recommend parents who would like to get more involved and maybe even players who may surprisingly learn some new rules... Whilst the club cannot offer to pay for the course, if you do attend and then subsequently umpire 3 matches we will reimburse 50% of costs. The qualification for this course would mean you could umpire TVMs and junior league matches where a level 1 umpiring badge is not required.
