This coming season sees the start of a new project for May & Bakers RUFC in the development of building a new junior section. This new initiative is looking to reach out to local children both boys and girls to get them involved in rugby, in a safe and enjoyable environment for them to develop new skills. As a local community club, we are looking to and work with the local schools and the wider community to encourage youngsters to get involved in the sport. We will be looking for players of all levels, experience and quality and want rugby to be accessible to all young people. As a coach there is nothing more satisfying than seeing a player that started in your youth section, move into the senior sides and hopefully we will have a few of those in the not too distant future.
