Following a great encounter last weekend, Staines Titans once again visited the home of Medway Dragons looking for revenge.

Right from the start, the Titans showed they wanted to prove that the previous week was an anomoly. They scored three times in the first twenty minutes, to leave Dragons reeling at 12-0 down.

After a severe 'hairdryer' from the coach, the team pulled their socks up and scored twice in the remaining minutes of the first half, to go in just 10-12 down. Kaine Dimech scored a typically powerful burst, whilst Connor Nayler leaped high to collect a bomb from Ewan Rushworth and score over the try-line, allowing Connor O'Grady to slot the conversion.

Once again though, the Titans showed they are made of determined stuff, scoring early in the second half before Callum Daulby broke through to score, followed swiftly by another from Dimech.

The Dragons had their noses ahead, until the Titans once more broke through the Dragons defence, leaving it all square at twenty apiece with just ten minutes to go.

Some very neat passing play resulted in a great score in the corner for Tom Josling, with a fantastic conversion from Ewan Rushworth to add to the points. The game was finished off by Funsho Olaleye breaking the Titans defence to score under the sticks, Rushworth adding another two.

32-20 to the home side in a thrilling encounter between two great footballing sides.

Many thanks to the Titans for making the trip to the Garrison two weeks in a row - great lads all round and two very closely fought contests.

The Under 16s march on next week back in the league, with a trip to Elmbridge Eagles.

Well done to everyone involved today; a great result allowing us to progress to the next stage of the Challenge Cup.
