Weather Can't Beat The Dragons 14's
The frozen weekend meant a change of venue, a different session but some great progress for the Dragons 14's. Medway Park Judo Dojo was a great venue
Medway Dragons Under 14's continued progress in session 3 of the 2012 pre-season programme when they moved over to the remarkable Medway Park facilities and staged a combat session in the Judo Dojo on Saturday.
Under 14's Head Coach Martin Coyd explained 'We lost the use of the pitches on Friday and had a look for options. Our friends at Medway Park Judo Club kindly allowed us to use their facilities and we took advantage of the mat. It is a world class facility on our doorstep and enabled us to deliver a high quality defensive session'
'It was clear that the lads learned much from the five coaches, who in turn had picked up much from our session with James Massara from London Broncos in January. It was an opportunity to put these new skills into practice and I am sure it will make a difference in 2012. Strong defence will enable us to play exciting football and we will build a season around the hard work ethic'
