A brilliant day at The 8th Annual Medway Dragons Awards, held at The Ship & trades was capped off when Alex Russell was named as Man of Steel for 2015.

Dragons Head Coach Martin Coyd said 'Alex is a great bloke, a fine players and an example of how to be a great player. This year he didn't miss a training session or a game, giving 110 % to everything we did'

'He plays well above his weight and leads our defensive line. He does more than his fair share of carries and hates coming off the field. If every player had his values, effort and belief in his team, we could take on the world'

On receiving his award Alex didn't say anything. He did smile though.
