This year's spectacular event will take place during the evening of Friday, 27 July in Rochester Castle Gardens.
Thousands of people are expected to once again take part in the children's, adult and mass family race around Rochester.
After the races enjoy Medway's Big Night Out as the Castle Gardens will be transformed into an official London 2012 Community Live Site, complete with a big screen for everyone to watch the Opening Ceremony and to celebrate together the arrival of the Games in London in our own carnival atmosphere.
To add to enjoyment for families, this year’s Medway Mile in the Rochester Castle Gardens is smoke free
