A new era began at Medway Dragons on Monday when Rob Powell led his first session at Medway Park as the team prepares for the 2014 campaign. The world class facilities will enable the team to prepare well, backed up by a large and capable off-field team which will allow Powell to focus on the football.

Martin Coyd said ‘I am delighted with the turn out and also the return of some players who have a lot of Rugby League in them, those who started out with the Dragons and made it onto Harlequins Rugby League and London Broncos Academies and were exposed to high level coaching and development. ‘We are also looking forward, in the near future, to giving opportunities to the high potential players in the Under 17 team to work with the First Grade. Mark Roughsedge is relishing working with this team, one that has been a huge success for years, and he is racking up performance levels and enabling the lads to take big steps forward.
