Medway Dragons Under 15 player Max Savage has been awarded a place at London Broncos U16 Academy

Medway Dragons are celebrating further success on the Player Performance Pathway with the selection of Max Savage for The London Broncos Under 16 Academy. The Broncos Academy play fixtures against other Super League Clubs and train twice weekly at Feltham in West London

Tim Holland, Coach at Medway Dragons Under 15 said ‘Max is very important to our team with his knowledge of the game and gives us creativity and steel in the middle of the park. He is a leader of the team and the lads will be delighted that he has been given the call’

Dragons Head Coach Martin Coyd added ’Max has made good progress playing the game having stepped away for a while and came back to join The Dragons. We are delighted for him and his family. He knows the game quite well and often makes the right decision, creating openings and tries for his team mates’

‘Being at the Broncos will certainly toughen him up to the level needed for a back rower and match his undoubted ball skills and vision with the physical side of the game needed for progression. Max will also bring the experiences back to the Dragons’

‘Rugby League in London & The South continues to be strong at community level and we are producing some great players. Max has taken the next step up and has a chance to keep progressing towards higher levels in the game’
