Medway Dragons are entering into a community partnership with the outstanding local pub, The King George V, situated in Garden Street, Brompton, just 200 metres from The Garrison where we play.

Leon Simmonds, landlord of The KGV, is throwing the doors open to everyone at The Club every Saturday evening throughout the summer.

Dragons Head Coach Martin Coyd said 'This is a great opportunity for us to rebuild the social side of the club which took a big hit after the sink hole put The Garrison Stadium out of commission two summers ago'

'A big part of our culture at The Dragons is supporting the local community and putting something back. The KGB is a great community pub, a proper local, serving great local produce and supporting the community in and around us'

'I can see us using the pub s our clubhouse on every Saturday through the spring and summer of our season and then perhaps once a month through the dark, cold winter nights'

'Our First Grade are at home on Saturday and will have a feed at The KGV with London Chargers from about 1700 hrs and then stay on afterwards. All members of The Dragons are invited to come to our last home game of 2016 and the social afterwards’
