The Warburtons Our Medway Primary School Rugby League Festivals gather pace with a Festival @ Balfour School in Chatham, six teams, great fun, sunshine

Balfour hosted the 2nd Warburton’s Our Medway Festival on Wednesday 30th June. 6 Teams were vying for 3 places in the competitions night of champions on the 15th June.

The Sunny weather provided a great backdrop for some great Rugby League and the players didn’t disappoint as Gordon edged out the home side Balfour in the final.

Game of the day saw newcomers High Halstow run an impressive Sherwin Knights close in a 6 Try Thriller only being decided in the dying seconds as the Stood outfit took out the last qualifying spot.

The day was played in great spirits and welcomed new Schools in Balfour, All Hallows and High Halstow into the growing Ruby League family within Medway.

The Night of Champions takes place on Friday 15th June from 15.30 at the Garrison Stadium home of the Medway Dragons.
