Medway Dragons Primary RL Section has made a wonderful start to 2014, numbers through the roof, great fun, great place and loads of skills

On top of the recent big news at the senior level in the club, there is, perhaps, cause for even more celebration at Medway Dragons with the situation at the Primary Rugby League.

3 age groups are running at Under 7, under 9 and Under 11. The youngest Rugby League Players are just 4 years old and they play in a fantastic, safe, fun environment where they can learn and play.

The Junior Section has made a fantastic start, huge numbers, great football and massive sense of belonging to The Dragons. There were two games – 15s & 17s - at The Garrison today, both against Croydon Hurricanes, a fine club, and played in front of a big crowd in the sunshine.

The 13’s are currently doing it tough, following the welcome establishment of the Invicta Panthers, but are having a great time and were well looked after at London Skolars today. No doubt, numbers will grow and they will become a legendary team within the club in the future. The 13’s are blessed with great coaches and volunteers and will come good.

Medway Dragons Primary RL Season is going great guns and will burst into life on Saturday 05 April 2014 with the first London RL Festival of the season.

Even bigger, will be The Dragons Festival on Saturday 26 April 2014 when all the clubs in London will descend on Gillingham, along with teams from France, and we will be the heart of a big day at The Garrison.

The Men’s First Grade will have their final pre-season trial game and the Masters will bring the curtain down with a Kent Origin Game – Men of Kent v Kentish Men.

The BBQ will have a busy day
