The burgeoning Wheelchair Rugby League scene in Kent has been recognised and will pilot the brand new Coach Education Course @ Medway Park on 31 July

Kent now boasts no less than four Wheelchair Rugby League Clubs as Dartford Vipers have joined Folkestone Spitfires, Gravesend Dynamite and Medway Dragons playing the sport through the summer months in The South East Corner of England.

Medway park is home of wheelchair Rugby League in The UK having hosted the Rugby League World Cup in 2013 and was the scene of England’s triumph in the Euro’s last year.

The course is run by Rugby League Learning, is completed over one day, Sunday 31 July 2016, and will qualify participants as a Level 2 Wheelchair Rugby League Coach. In addition, participants will be required to complete a three hour Safeguarding Course the day before. This will ensure that all successful candidates will be fully ‘badged’ on completion.

The cost is £ 85 and covers both courses.
