The Dragons are back !

Medway Dragons Wheelchair Rugby League makes a welcome return as we kick off the 2016 programme with training and pre-season preparation at 1900 hrs on Wednesday 11 February 2016 at Medway Park.

The Dragons Management agreed to freeze annual subscriptions at £ 84 (£7 per month option) representing outstanding value and ensuring that everyone can belong to the club.

Dragons Head Coach Martin Coyd said ‘we are hugely excited about the new season. It is the beginning of a World Cup Cycle which will culminate in the World Cup in Sydney and all of our people have a chance to contribute and be a part of a very exciting period for the game’

‘There is a new structure this year and The Dragons are in the Super League and will have an exciting season ahead. There are also four team in Kent now meaning we will be part of a local competition with our friends from Folkestone, Gravesend and Dartford’

‘We have recruited well in the off season and I am delighted that we have people joining us from the England and Australia International Teams which will have a massive and positive impact on and off the field at The Dragons. The fact that we are able to attract individuals of this calibre is a reflection of the great people in The Dragons Family’

‘Medway Park is the best venue in the country for Wheelchair Rugby League and as well as making it a fun place to play, we will look to make it a fortress for Medway Dragons and England’
