Old Payers Welcome!
Melksham RFC Vets
Vets rugby is for the 0ver 35’s amongst us whose best playing years are behind them but want to play for the love of the game. Novices are welcome and pushy dads from the mini’s, ex internationals and those of you who still dream of representing your country, just as long as you are over 35.
The team embodies the true spirit of the game of rugby playing in with the true Corinthian style (letting the opposing team play to their full potential before bring them down to our level).
Only playing a few times a year for the enjoyment of the game it gives players time to recover and to increase the exaggerations of their previous outing.
The team plays like trapeze artists, without safety nets (well no first aid kit only a barrel of cider on the side line the numb the pain).
Remember old age and treachery will always over come youth and skill!!!
