Mellish & Southwell Under 17s Join To Form The Sherwood Barbarians
Mellish and Southwell have joined forces at Under 17s to ensure that they have a squad big enough to compete through the whole league season.
The purpose of the amalgamation is to guarantee that the lads have an enjoyable season of competitve rugby whilst still being attatched to their parent club. The idea was to make sure that all the hard work put in over the years by the parent club would benefit themselves and not have other clubs cherry pick the best players and discard players of a lesser standard who may be lost to rugby for ever. Both clubs have helped out financially and a sponsor, Alltruck, has been found to fund the kit. Both clubs would like to wish all the lads well and we hope you have a very enjoyable season.
