100 club
The first 100 club draw saw the Griffiths family win all round.
The Mellor Merlin ball machine was checked and verified by David Jaggs the musician and singer of the night. The tension was high with so much money at stake. 2nd prize was £25 and it was no66 Jess Griffiths. An impoverished student her dad had paid her entry fee of £25 so you have to wonder where the winning money should go!! First prize was £75 . It went to Grandma Griffiths wih number 76. The Griffiths grandchildren have their finger crossed!
