Men's 1st teamer attack player, Will Sugden, has been picked for the England squad to play in the ELF European Championships to be held in Hungary next year. Will has progressed through the juniors at Mellor and thoroughly deserves this recognition of his play.

Representing the Ladies, from Mellor, in the ELF European Championships to be held this August in The Czech Republic, is Claire Faram. Claire will be playing in midfield and the England team is drawn in Pool 1, alongside the host country and Finland and Norway. Like Will, Claire has come up through the Mellor junior ranks and has been a great servant of the club.

Two Men's U19's players to make the England U19's squad are midfielder Jack Robinson and defender Ollie Rogerson. The U19's tournament will be held next July in British Columbia. I'm sure both lads will have a terrific experience and proudly represent the Mellor club.

Four junior Metro recruits this season are Drew Bickerton, Josh Haining, Will McDonald and Ben Tipping, whilst three Mellor girls have been picked for the England Academy - Emily Kynaston, Miranda Bate and Aoife Teegan.
